About The Owner
Tree surgery has always been a part of Mark’s family. After leaving school, he spent two years working for his uncle, a tree surgeon, and discovered a love for the trade. At 18, he joined the army, serving 13 years with tours in Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, and the Falklands, and later instructing at ITC Catterick. When he left the military, he returned to his roots and built his own tree surgery business, bringing the same dedication and high standards he’d learned in the army into his work.
Today, it’s a thriving, fully qualified service where he’s proud to have both professional staff and family working alongside him. Mark takes pride in giving back to the local community, donating wood chips to allotments, logs to schools, and helping charities like the Salvation Army with emergency tree work. He strives for perfection, carrying the work ethic he learned in the army into every job. For Mark, it’s not just about the business—it’s about professionalism, community, and making a positive impact every day.
